New Beginnings: A Marathon of Courage

Today, I got the call I’d been waiting for—the one that made it official. I’m hired. It feels surreal how fast this all happened, especially considering how worried I was just this morning, telling my friends about my fears. This news arrived at the perfect time, like a small gift reminding me to trust the journey.
Still, I know it’s too early to completely exhale. Life rarely lets us bask in stable happiness for long, doesn’t it? This moment feels like the start line of a new marathon, one where I’ll need to find my own pace, keep moving forward, and, hopefully, never give up. It’s a bit like a tournament—you get more chances if you stumble, but you also face the challenge of overcoming your own self-doubt each time. It’s a cycle, really, one that defines us over a lifetime.
Signing that offer letter will mean more than just a job—it’s a promise I’m making to myself to step back into the game, with courage and resilience. There’s a quote I meditate on from Boho Beautiful: “Today’s decision will define my tomorrow.” And I believe it. My courage, my dedication—they’re my compass. I may be nervous, but I’m moving forward, and that’s what matters.
